Jezuchea Sondexkarancho Urbhevont Zobabdari (JESUZ):

"Jezuz" is acronym of ‘Jezuchea Sondexkarancho urbhevont zobabdari”; this is a catehetical association. The parish priest or chaplain selects two representatives from his catechists who are called Jezuz. They are selected for one year and have to attend the meetings.

Its aim is to deepen one’s faith and to help others also deepen their faith, to experience and share that experience with others, to hold discussons on catechetical issues, to be aware of the programmes at the Center,to promote the Catechetical work in an organized way in one’s own church, to encourage other Catechists and to care for them, to attend all meetings without failure. (You are a representative of your catechists).

Its meetings take place in its three helping centers Margao, Mapusa and Panaji.They meet four times in the year that is in June, August, October and January. The last meeting also known as Jezuz Day which takes place in March/April (Sunday) the venue for this meeting can be shifted according to the need felt.
